Windsor Castle is being illuminated to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic rowing competition.

Images of rowers are being projected on to the royal castle in Berkshire every evening until Saturday.

Olympic organisers Locog said the images portrayed "energy, determination, exaltation and exhaustion" of past and present rowers.

About 25,000 people have been attending the rowing events each day at Eton Dorney, which is close to the castle.
