A civic reception is being staged in Berkshire to honour athletes from the borough who competed in the Olympics and Paralympics.
Caversham-based rower Anna Watkins will be the guest of honour at the event at Wokingham Town Hall.
She is expected to be joined by members of GB's women's hockey team and Paralympic athletes.
The athletes, local torch bearers and Games Makers will be toasted by the town and borough mayors.
Councillor Peter Lucey, town mayor, said: "Mrs Watkins' outstanding performance in the women's double sculls is something the whole borough would like to celebrate.
"We look forward to congratulating her in person at our special civic reception."
Mrs Watkins Anna is studying for a PhD in mathematics at the University of Reading.
