Bracknell Broadway and Crossway demolition begins

Work has begun to demolish part of a Berkshire town centre.
The Broadway and Crossway in Bracknell have been closed to pedestrians for the last time before the 1960s buildings are razed to the ground.
The buildings, including council offices in Seymour House, are being cleared to make way for 15 new shops, 10 restaurants and a 12-screen cinema.
Retailers received final compulsory purchase orders in January. Demolition is expected to finish in October.
Bracknell Forest regeneration councillor Marc Brunel-Walker said: "After many years of planning a new town centre that everyone can be proud of, it's really exciting that the next phase of Bracknell town centre's regeneration is about to start."
