A lorry driver has appeared in court charged with causing the deaths of a mother and three children in a crash.
The eight-vehicle crash happened on the A34 northbound between Chieveley and West Ilsley in Berkshire on 10 August.
Tomasz Kroker, 30, of Trajan Walk, Andover, is charged with four counts of causing death by dangerous driving and one of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was remanded in custody to attend Reading Crown Court on 10 October.

Tracy Houghton, 45, from Dunstable, her two sons, Ethan, 13, and Joshua, 11, and her partner's daughter Aimee Goldsmith, 11, died when their car was in a collision with a lorry between the West Ilsley and Ridgeway junctions at about 17:10 BST.
A man was flown to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
A further 11 people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
