Maidenhead bungalow fire: Woman found dead in bedroom

A woman in her 70s has died in a fire at a bungalow in Berkshire.

Firefighters were called to Headington Road, Maidenhead, at 23:24 BST on Thursday.

The crews, who had been alerted to the blaze by neighbours, found the woman's body in a bedroom.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was working with police to investigate the cause of the fire.
