Slough: Family tribute to Temur Qureshi, 19, killed in stabbing

Temur Qureshi "embraced life's challenges with unwavering courage", his family says

A 19-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in the street "lived his life putting others before him, leaving a trail of kindness and generosity", his family has said.

Temur Qureshi was found injured on Hampden Road in Slough at about 11:20 BST on Saturday and died at the scene.

In a tribute, his family said he "brought endless joy into our lives".

A 17-year-old boy from Slough has been charged with Mr Qureshi's murder and possession of a bladed article.

Mr Qureshi's family said: "His kindness, strength and laughter will forever echo in our hearts.

"He embraced life's challenges with unwavering courage and taught us the true meaning of resilience."

They added: "We will forever carry his memory in our hearts, a cherished treasure of love and warmth that time can never diminish."

Two men, aged 19 and 21, earlier arrested on suspicion of murder, possession of a knife and grievous bodily harm with intent have been released with no further action.

A man, 53 and a woman, 40, both of Slough, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender were released on bail.
