Drivers are being urged to remove their vehicles from a multi-storey car park ahead of its closure.

The 1970s High Street car park in Bracknell Town Centre is set to shut after experts found the concrete structure was crumbling.

Structural engineers have advised it could remain in place safely until 2025. It will eventually be demolished.

Bracknell Forest Council said all vehicles must be removed by 21:00 on 31 October.

The car park has already had its middle parking bays closed to the public to spread the weight load.

Councillors agreed in July that the car park should be closed.

People who currently use the Shopmobility service via High Street car park should use Princess Square from 1 November.

Structural engineers said the businesses underneath the car park could remain in place safely until 2025, subject to regular inspections.
