A driver who failed to stop at a crash in a town which left a motorcyclist injured has been urged by police to come forward.

Thames Valley Police said a grey saloon car and a motorcycle collided on Southampton Street in Reading shortly before 17:30 GMT on Friday.

The force said the 18-year-old rider suffered face and leg injuries, but the car did not stop at the scene.

A representative asked anyone who witnessed the crash to contact police.
