After the recent flooding an exhibition is being held to show residents measures to combat flooding.

Those in the Pang Valley in Berkshire can see if their home is at risk and what can be done to keep it dry.

The event features the floodmobile, a home fitted with flood prevention ideas, including inflatable toilet bungs, pumps and door barriers.

Council, Environment Agency and Thames Water experts will also be available for residents to speak to.

West Berkshire Council said those from the various organisations would be on hand to "listen and answer your questions, provide advice and support, and share valuable insights about flood preparedness".

The Pang Valley Flood Protection Exhibition is being held on Saturday from 13:00 - 18:00 GMT at the Hampstead Norreys Village Hall.

The free event has been organised by the Pang Valley Flood Forum with West Berkshire Council and local Parish Councils.

The forum, set up in January 2013, is run by volunteers from the 10 Parishes in the Pang Valley.
