Jaguar Land Rover staff pay deal

Workers at Jaguar Land Rover have voted to accept a two year pay deal securing jobs at sites in Halewood, Castle Bromwich and Solihull.
The deal will see pay increase by 5% this year and by 0.5% above inflation in 2011.
The Unite union says that 74% of workers across sites in the Midlands and Merseyside accepted the new pay deal.
"The workforce is over the moon," said Unite official Des Quinn.
He added: "They can now look forward to the future in the knowledge that their jobs and livelihoods are secure for years to come".
In September 2009 Jaguar Land Rover said one of its factories in Castle Bromwich or Solihull would close within 10 years.
It has since announced both plants would be retained and that a third model would be added to the Range Rover model range, the Evoque.
