Nattrass to step down as West Midlands UKIP MEP

The former deputy leader of UKIP has announced he is to step down.

Mike Nattrass, 65, has represented the West Midlands constituency at the European Parliament since 2004.

Mr Nattrass said he planned to step down by the time of the next European elections in 2014 when the time "will be right" to retire.

His constituency covers Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire.
