Warning after latest child collision in West Midlands

People have been urged to take care after a fourth serious collision involving a child or young adult in the West Midlands in 24 hours.
A 17-year old girl was hit by a car in the latest incident in College Road in the Kingstanding area.
She was taken to hospital with serious head and pelvic injuries after the ambulance service was called to the road at about 08:20 BST on Thursday.
It has advised drivers to use "extreme caution" near schools and colleges.

A spokesman said: "As schools and colleges return for a new academic year, parents and children are being urged by West Midlands Ambulance Service to take heed of key road safety messages."
A boy, believed to be aged 11, suffered foot and leg injuries when he was hit by a car at the junction of Holly Lane and Sutton Road, Erdington, at about 15:35 BST on Wednesday.
Another boy suffered multiple injuries, including head, chest and internal injuries, when he was struck by a car in Ludlow Road, Birmingham, at about 16:20 BST.
Another child was in a car which hit a tree at about 17:00 BST at Linden Road, Bournville.
Elsewhere in the West Midlands on Wednesday, a six-year-old boy suffered a broken leg and suspected pelvic injuries when he was struck by a bus at the junction of Church Street and Lichfield Street in Bilston at about 15:45 BST.
A girl believed to be aged six sustained a serious leg injury when she was hit by a car at about 16:45 BST on Beechfield Road, Smethwick.
The five children were taken to hospital.
