One of Birmingham's most famous statues has been given a union flag costume to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The Bullring shopping centre said the bull statue would continue to wear the outfit through the summer as the city celebrates its role in the Olympics.

The statue's outfit has been created by professional costume designer Nicola Teale.

In June, the country is due to mark 60 years of the Queen's reign with a range of celebrations across the UK.
