Birmingham to London by steam train

A public steam train is travelling from Birmingham to London.
The locomotive Earl of Mount Edgecumbe, originally built in 1936, is expected to complete the journey from Moor Street to Marylebone in two hours.
Birmingham-based Vintage Trains said it had been inspired to put on the passenger service after a private booking last year.
Run in partnership with Chiltern Railways, it left at 10:00 BST.
The journey also coincides with the 50th anniversary year of the Beeching report, which saw hundreds of stations and services cut across the country.
