An 18-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a rapper who was stabbed to death in Birmingham.
Armani Deniro Mitchell is accused of killing Joshua Ribera, 18, who was attacked on Friday night near TC's nightclub in Selly Oak.
Mr Ribera had earlier attended an event in memory of a teenager who died after he was stabbed in Birmingham.
Mr Mitchell, of The Green, Northfield, was remanded in custody by Birmingham magistrates.
He will appear at the city's crown court on Thursday.
Mr Ribera, known as Depzman, was stabbed in the heart after an event held to raise money for a headstone for the grave of Kyle Sheehan, 16, who was killed in a knife attack last September.
Another man arrested in connection with Mr Ribera's death has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
