A lorry hit level crossing barriers, causing delays on trains in the West Midlands.

Trains had to run at slower speeds after the lorry struck barriers in Cradley Heath at about 12:40 GMT on Monday, London Midland said.

Delays between Smethwick Galton Bridge and Stourbridge Junction were reported. London Midland said rail services were back to normal by 16:35 GMT.

A spokeswoman apologised for any disruption to passengers.
