Adam Jones death: Hit-and-run police 'receive calls'

Detectives investigating the death of a teenage boy in a hit-and-run incident say they have received a number of calls following an appeal.

Adam Jones, from Wednesbury in the West Midlands, was hit by a Volkswagen Bora travelling from Stone Cross towards Walsall, on Thursday 26 March.

The driver then fled from the scene, police said. The 15-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.

A man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released without charge.

The collision happened on Walsall Road, Friars Park, Wednesbury, just after 19:30 GMT, as Adam was crossing the road with his bicycle.
