A man found dead in a Birmingham shed was killed by multiple stab wounds, a post-mortem examination has revealed.

The man, who has not been formally identified, was believed to be a 34-year-old from the Yardley area, West Midlands Police said.

The body was found at a property on Carlton Road, Bordesley Green, at about 23.30 BST on Friday.

Eleven people who were arrested in connection with his death have been released on police bail.

The 11 - five men aged 45, 33, 28, 24 and 23, four women aged 50, 41, 25 and 19 and two boys, aged 15 - are all thought to be known to the dead man, police said.
