A man killed in a double stabbing in Birmingham has been named by police.
Lukasz Furmanek, from Handsworth, was found unconscious and bleeding in Grove Lane in the early hours of Sunday and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 31-year-old man who was also stabbed during the attack remained in a critical condition in hospital, West Midlands Police said.
A post-mortem examination confirmed Mr Furmanek had died after being stabbed, police said.
Detectives are looking at CCTV footage of the surrounding area, while Grove Lane remains closed for forensic examination.
Det Ch Insp Sam Ridding said officers were "working around the clock to find the people responsible".
She said: "We appreciate that this attack will have caused concern to the local community but at this stage it appears to have been an isolated offence."
