Drive-by shooting in Birmingham injures man

Part of Lozells Road was cordoned off following the attack

A man has been hurt in what is thought to have been a targeted drive-by shooting.

The 19-year-old is in hospital with two gunshot wounds, one to his back and one to his leg, after the attack in Lozells Road, Birmingham, on Monday evening.

West Midlands Police said it believed the shooting was a "targeted attack".

The victim remains in a stable condition. Police would like to hear from anyone with information.
