Birmingham prison officer charged with drug smuggling

A prison officer has been charged with smuggling drugs and psychoactive substances into jail.
Richard Stack, from Kingstanding Road in Kingstanding, was arrested by West Midlands Police on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old, who works at HMP Birmingham, face charges of possessing cannabis, steroids and a psychoactive substance with intent to supply.
He also faces two counts of conveying items into prison, and misconduct in a public office.
He is set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court later.
