Father ready to 'embrace' refugee son who made Lily Allen cry
The father of a young refugee, whose plight reduced singer Lily Allen to tears, has said he is ready to 'embrace' his son.
Hazrat Gul Sherin of Alum Rock, Birmingham, admitted he will cry when he sees Shamsher for the first time in ten years.
His 13-year-old son, Shamsher, left the camp in Calais on Wednesday with a dozen other children.
Speaking to the BBC, Shamsher said he looked forward to starting a life in England and wanted to go to school.
