'Murder' arrest over bedsit body find in Erdington

A 38-year-old woman was found in a bedsit on Kings Road, Erdington.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found at a bedsit.
Police were called to the property on Kings Road in Erdington, Birmingham, just before 04:00 GMT on Monday.
Attempts were made to save the injured 38-year-old but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police says a 51-year-old man arrested at the address is believed to be known to the victim on whom a post mortem exam has taken place.
The room in which she was found has been sealed off for forensic enquiries.
