Birmingham crash death leaves family 'heartbroken'

The families of two men killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Birmingham say they are "heartbroken" and in "absolute shock".

Mohammed Fahsha, 30, and Tauqeer Hussain, 26, were among six who died in the crash in Edgbaston on Sunday.

Mr Fahsha's brother said his death had left a "huge dent in our family".

He was travelling in an Audi with Mr Hussain and Kasar Jehangir, 25, who also died. A fourth man, 22, remains in hospital.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened on Belgrave Middleway at about 01:00 GMT.

A taxi driver, Imtiaz Mohammed, 33, and his two passengers Lucy Davis, 43, and Lee Jenkins, 42, were also killed.

Mr Fahsha's brother described him as "kind" and "gentle... family man" with a "permanent smile".

"The loss has placed a huge dent in our family which will forever remain," he said, adding that the family was "heartbroken".

Mr Hussain's family paid tribute to a "warm, happy and loving individual who was loved by so many" and said he "would go above and beyond for his family and friends."

"The last few days have come as an absolute shock for all," the family said.

Insp Steve Radford, from West Midlands Police, said: "We are still keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and has not yet spoken to us."
