Universal credit: Family snubbed by landlords

A woman said she had helped her daughter apply for more than 60 rental properties without success.

Helen Williams, from Shirley in the West Midlands, said there were very few landlords who would consider her daughter Rachel, as she was on benefits.

Rachel and her two young sons have been told to leave their current home by November after the landlord decided to sell-up.
