A stretch of the M6 that closed following a crash involving a lorry and a motorbike has reopened after several hours.

The collision happened southbound between Junctions 10 for Walsall and 9 for Wednesbury at about 14:10 GMT.

At about 19:45 Transport for West Midlands said that stretch had reopened but congestion remained.

Central Motorway Police Group earlier advised drivers to find alternative routes.
