The protesters gathered on Birmingham's High Street
Hundreds of people have taken part in a rally calling for an end to the conflict in the Gaza strip.
The protest, in Birmingham, is one of a number organised across the country demanding a ceasefire in the region.
It began on the city's High Street and follows the recent upsurge in conflict between Hamas and Israel.
Israel has expanded its strikes, three weeks after Hamas launched a cross-border attack that killed 1,400 people and saw 229 people taken as hostages.
Gaza's Hamas-run heath ministry said more than more than 8,000 people have been killed in the territory since then.

Those assembled also gathered outside the Mailbox
