Missiles including bricks and stones were thrown from inside Ryecroft Cemetery in Walsall

Police issuing another dispersal order for Walsall have warned someone "will get killed" if yobs continue to throw missiles at passing cars, including police vehicles.

Bricks and stones have been hurled towards motorists from inside Ryecroft Cemetery on Coalpool Lane.

The 48-hour order, which gives officers extra powers, follows "numerous reports of damaged vehicles" on Wednesday.

A similar measure was introduced in the borough last week.

The new order from 16:00 GMT on Thursday will cover areas of Coalpool, Goscote and Harden.

It will allow the West Midlands force to disperse anyone engaging in anti-social behaviour and causing a public nuisance.

The number of officers has also been increased in those areas.

Two police cars had windows smashed and bodywork dented, while taxi drivers and members of the public also reported damaged vehicles.

Sgt Phil Upton, neighbourhood policing supervisor for Walsall, said: "We can't tolerate this kind of behaviour.

"Someone will get seriously injured or killed if this continues."
