Hopes for M4 link to Avon Ring Road dashed

Hopes for an M4 link to the Avon Ring Road near Bristol have been dashed for at least another four years.
Chris Skidmore, the Conservative MP for Kingswood, pressed the case for the road in a special debate in the Commons on Wednesday.
He said it could have an important impact on the Bristol and Bath Science Park.
But roads minister Norman Baker said there was no money for such a scheme at the moment.
