Bristol water pipelines improved

Improvement work costing more than £2m on water mains in two areas of Bristol get under way on Monday.

In Lockleaze, the work will see 7,600m of pipeline renovated. It will take about 20 weeks to complete.

Work in Frenchay will take about 22 weeks to complete and 4,400m of pipeline will be improved.

Bristol Water said short-term interruptions to the water supply in the two areas could happen while the work was carried out.
