Work begins on £3.1m school sports centre in Keynsham

Work is to begin on a £3.1 million sports centre at a school in Somerset.

The centre at Wellsway School in Keynsham is a joint project between the school and Bath and North East Somerset Council.

Plans include a new six-court sports hall, activity suites and an additional classroom for the school, and should be completed by October 2012.

The facilities will also be available for public use out of school hours.
