Bristol City Council sells affordable housing site for £1

Up to 12 affordable houses are to be built on the site of a former school in Bristol.
The land in Fishponds Road in Eastville has been sold to a local Community Land Trust by Bristol City Council for £1.
The old school site, derelict for a number of years, will be developed with a mixture of affordable rent and shared equity housing by the trust.
Councillor Anthony Negus said: "This is an exciting landmark in the history of house building in Bristol."
