Bristol cash machine 'blown up' at petrol station
- Published
A cash machine at a petrol station in Bristol might have been "blown up", police have said.
The dispenser on Hartcliffe Way was attacked at about 03:30 BST, leaving £10 notes scattered across the forecourt.
An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said they had yet to establish if anything had been taken.
Officers are guarding the scene and the money is being counted to see how much, if any, was stolen.
Police have asked anyone with information to contact them.
The cash dispenser was attacked in a separate incident a year ago and a man was convicted for the offence.
