A former teacher has been charged with making indecent films using hidden cameras at a boarding school.
Jonathan Thomson-Glover, 53 of Wadebridge, is accused of carrying out offences at Clifton College, Bristol, and also at an address in Cornwall.
The charges relate to more than 120 victims aged between 12 and 17 allegedly secretly filmed over a 16-year period, police said.
Mr Thomson-Glover will appear before Taunton Magistrates' Court on 20 July.
He is charged with 36 counts of making, taking and possessing indecent images using secret cameras.
A spokeswoman for Devon and Cornwall Police said information was initially passed to the force by the National Crime Agency relating to indecent images of children downloaded from the internet.
'Shocked'
She said none of the charges relates to offences involving physical contact.
Clifton College confirmed that Mr Thomson-Glover resigned from his position as housemaster at the school "with immediate effect" last summer, following the discovery of inappropriate material downloaded from the internet.
A spokesman said the school has been "shocked" at the allegations and has been "cooperating fully" with the police during the investigation.
Clifton College was founded in 1862 and describes itself on its website, external as "a leading independent public school".
The annual fee for boarders is about £30,000 a year. Former students include John Cleese, journalist John Inverdale and GB Hockey player Lily Owsley.
