A Bristol man has been charged with so-called "revenge porn" offences.
Luke Brimson, 29, of Bradley Crescent, Shirehampton, is accused of disclosing sexual photographs with intent to cause distress.
He is also accused of harassment relating to an alleged incident in Nailsea earlier in July, Avon and Somerset Police said.
He has been released on bail to appear before North Somerset Magistrates' Court on 30 July.
The charge is a new offence under the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015.
Sending "revenge porn" covers images posted on social networks, including Facebook and Twitter, and those sent by text without permission.
Convicted offenders could face up to two years' imprisonment.
