A teenager who was badly hurt in a holiday quad biking accident has been flown back to the UK by air ambulance.
Lewis Evans, 18, from Thornbury near Bristol, suffered "devastating injuries" when he came off the bike on the Greek island of Zante on 3 October.
An online fundraising campaign raised the £30,000 needed to bring him home, as his holiday insurance did not cover quad biking.
Mr Evans is now being cared for at Bristol's Southmead Hospital.
His great-aunt, Sue Turl, said: "He is stable, and he will get the best of care at Southmead.
"The family are exhausted but relieved, and just pleased to get him back in the UK."
She said Lewis suffered "devastating injuries" in the accident including a ruptured spleen, holes in both lungs, and fractured vertebrae.
He also has several broken ribs and two bad breaks to his shoulder.
