A teenage boy has been charged with six offences in connection with three separate knife attacks in Bristol.
The 17-year-old boy was charged with attempted murder, GBH, aggravated burglary and three counts of possession of a bladed article.
The attempted murder charge relates to the stabbing of 52-year-old, Adam Towler, in Clifton, on 30 October.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 24 December.
Earlier, Bristol Youth Court heard the other two alleged offences took place on 20 November and 21 November.
'Violent offence'
District Judge Lynne Matthews told the boy, who was supported in court by his parents, he was "charged with a violent offence" and would be "remanded in youth detention accommodation".
The court heard that on 20 November, Wojtek Rozmiarek, 39, suffered a slash wound to his face in Clifton.
The court was also told, that on 21 November, the boy allegedly followed a 22-year-old woman into her home in Redland.
Charges allege that he entered the property with a knife "with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm upon a person therein".
His next court appearance, on 24 December, is for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
