Couple keep Christmas tree up all year round

A couple have saved on the hassle of putting up decorations this December - by not taking them down in the first place.

Cheryl and Bernard Batt, from Weston-super-Mare, kept their Christmas tree up all through the year, re-decorating it every month to reflect seasonal events like Easter and Halloween.

The couple said it had been "great fun" and it "made people smile".
