Unicorn sculptures which featured in a charity art trail have raised £144,880 at auction.

In aid of Leukaemia Care, the auction at Propyard was hosted by the BBC's Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt expert Richard Madley on Thursday.

The 60 unicorns, which were painted by local artists, were spread across Bristol earlier this year.

Green King, a unicorn designed by Zase, went for the most, fetching £10,000 alone.

Before the auction by Bristol and Bath Auctioneers, Zack Pemberton-Whiteley, CEO of Leukaemia, said: "The public have come from far and wide to witness the unicorns on the streets of Bristol this summer.

"It's been amazing to see so many people experience the joy of the arts trail."
