Emergency services were called to the Eastville area of Bristol on Friday evening

A teenager is in hospital with stab wounds after a serious assault.

Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Easton Road and Easton Way in Bristol after the incident at about 23:15 GMT on Friday.

Avon and Somerset Police said officers are looking for three offenders. The victim's injuries are serious but not life-threatening, police said.

A spokesperson for the force said the assault is an isolated incident and not connected to any other matter.

Two of the offenders are thought to be black, in their late teens and of slim build.

Officers are yet to identify the remaining offender, but all three were wearing dark clothing according to their CCTV enquiries.

The man who suffered the stab wounds remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information that could help their enquiries, including dashcam footage, to contact them.
