Bristol and Swindon bleed kits: How to use them

After recent incidents involving knives in Bristol, bleed kits are being discussed and promoted again.

Installed across the city by Avon and Somerset Police, NHS England South West and HeartSafe, they are designed to be used by members of the public to give emergency first aid before paramedics arrive.

Bleed kits were also installed in Swindon by community group Owen's World, which was set up after Owen Dunn, 18, was killed in the the town.

Anti-knife campaigner Simon Brookes explains what the kits are, and what is inside.
