Teenager stabbed and robbed in Bristol park

A teenage boy is in hospital after being stabbed and robbed at a park.

Officers attended Little Stoke Playing Fields near Bristol shortly before 19:10 GMT on Wednesday.

Witnesses reported a teenage boy had been attacked by a group of people, one of whom had a knife, and had his bike and mobile phone stolen.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

All three remain in police custody.

The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing and his family has been informed.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
