A 16-year-old boy has been released on conditional bail after being arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

The teenager was arrested last week in connection with a stabbing in Fishponds Road, Eastville, Bristol.

Avon and Somerset Police officers were called to the scene at about 16:40 GMT on 14 February, following reports that a 20-year-old man had been stabbed.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The force said enquiries are still ongoing and has appealed for anyone with information which could help the investigation to get in touch.
