New CCTV footage connected to the fatal stabbing of a teenager could be key to finding his killer, police say.

Eddie Kinuthia, 19, died in hospital after being attacked by a passenger on an electric bike in the St Pauls area of Bristol on 21 July 2023.

Six arrests have been made but nobody has been charged in relation to his death. Three men remain on police bail.

Mr Kinuthia's mother, Irene Muthemba, urged her son's "cowardly" killer to give themselves up.

Police believe two men seen on CCTV riding an electric bike travelled from the Easton side of the M32 to the park in Grosvenor Road where Mr Kinuthia was stabbed.

Det Ch Insp Mark Almond, from Avon and Somerset Police, appeared on BBC's Crimewatch Live to issue another appeal for information following the release of new footage.

The footage shows the suspects riding what police believe to be a black Sur-ron LBX Light electric bike with a broken headlight.

They can be seen using a phone torch as an alternative light - something which Det Ch Insp Almond said could be "really important" to the investigation.

Police believe one of the suspects is black and was wearing dark or black clothing, including a hooded top and black trainers.

The other suspect is thought to be of mixed heritage, also wearing black or dark clothing with a hooded top and trainers, police said.

Police believe Mr Kinuthia was stabbed with a knife, with the blade measuring 12 to 13cm in length.

No bike or weapon have been recovered and police believe they would be vital to their investigation.

Det Ch Insp Mark Almond said: "It is incredibly hard for Irene and all of Eddie's family that the enquiries into his death are yet to result in a positive outcome.

"We're still working very hard to identify and speak to potential witnesses and find that last detail, that piece of information which will bring the right person to justice."

"You may not think you have anything new to add, but please do tell us what you know," he added.
