Peterborough theatre gets last-minute reprieve
- Published
A theatre in Cambridgeshire due to shut because it was operating at a loss, has been saved.
The Cresset in Peterborough, which has been open for 32 years, had "struggled to break-even", a spokesman said.
Now the YMCA, which runs the complex under the direction of the Cresset Board of Trustees, has agreed a three-year partnership with Vivacity.
Vivacity is a not-for-profit organisation which manages leisure facilities around the city.
