A 26-year-old man stabbed to death in Cambridge had a "big heart and an amazing spirit", his family have said in tribute to him.

Miciajah Brown, 26, was found by emergency crews called to a disturbance at Hanover Court on Saturday. He died at the scene.

A 22-year-old man has been bailed on suspicion of murder.

In a statement released by police, Mr Brown's family said he was loved by all.

"The family would like to thank everyone near and far for their kind words and support," they added.

A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from multiple stab wounds, one of which severed his femoral artery.

Two other men, 20 and 29, were injured and remain in Addenbrooke's Hospital in a stable condition, Cambridgeshire Police said.

Officers said they believed the Hanover Court incident could be connected to disturbances in Market Square at about 05:00 GMT on the same day, and also at Ditton Walk.

They are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, and are seeking a second man over the incident.
