A shopper was asked to leave a supermarket after he was spotted dressed in full Nazi uniform.
Customers complained after the man, wearing what appeared to be a black SS uniform with cap and red armband, visited an Asda in Cambridge.
Police were called, but he left of his own accord when confronted by the manager of the Beehive Centre store.
A man claiming to be the shopper said on Twitter he was handing out business cards and regularly visited the store.
A spokeswoman for Asda said: "We had a number of customer complaints so we asked him to leave the store."
It happened at about 14:00 GMT on Thursday, police said.
