Part of an A-road through Cambridgeshire that was closed due to flooding has reopened.

National Highways said the A428 was closed westbound within the Cambourne junction due to rain water.

The road had been closed in both directions on Tuesday night between the A1303 and A1198, but the eastbound carriageway reopened earlier.

National Highways said its contractors cleared the water and all lanes fully reopened just after 11:00 BST.
