Witchford: Lorry overturns on A142 roundabout

The fire service advised people to avoid the area and find alternative routes

A lorry has overturned and spilled its contents on to a roundabout, causing traffic delays.

Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service said a crew from Ely was at the scene of the crash on the A142 at Witchford, near Ely.

Firefighters arrived at the Lancaster Way/Witchford Road roundabout at about 08:40 GMT and found a overturned lorry.

They remained on the scene with other emergency services to safely clear the road.
