Man dies in A428 Croxton crash between lorry and cars

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to get in touch

A 20-year-old man has died following a collision between a lorry and two cars.

Cambridgeshire police received reports of a crash on the A428 at Croxton, between St Neots and Cambourne, at 06:40 GMT.

Emergency services attended, but the driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.

Det Con Fay Millen said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the collision, or either vehicle prior to it, to please get in touch."

She added: "A man has tragically lost his life in this collision and my thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time."

The road is likely to remain closed for some time while recovery takes place.
